Dates

Hacking runs from 9:30 AM to 7:00 PM PT on October 28, 2026. Submissions officially open at 9:30 AM PT on October 28; any project submitted before then must still be built during the hacking period. Submissions must be made on Devpost before 7:00 PM PT.

Eligibility

Open to students registered for the Solix AI Hackathon. Team size: 1–3 people. Participants may enter individually or in teams of 2 or 3. Teams larger than 3 are not eligible.

Project and Submission Requirements

Projects must be built during the hacking period and submitted to one of the six tracks.

Prizes

Prizes are awarded per winning submission, not per participant. If a team wins a track, the team shares that one prize — the amount is not multiplied by the number of members.

Each track awards a first place ($5,000) and a second place ($3,000). All prizes are paid out in Solix Academy Credits, not cash.

Judging Criteria and Winner Selection

Teams present to judges on October 29 during their track's scheduled time. Winners are announced on October 29.

Code of Conduct

All participants, judges, mentors, and organizers must follow the MLH Code of Conduct.
